Something a little different... I tried to up the cute factor to even the balance after all that twilight zone I watched! I just love drawing long hair, its a character in itself! Created in Photoshop CS6

Welcome to... The Twilight Zone

So, i am REALLY into The Twilight Zone these days. I'm getting so inspired by these creepy stories, its fantastic! This scene really stood out in my mind from 'Lateness of The Hour.' I dont want to spoil it for you, but you need to watch it. I wanted to re-create the background from on top of the stairs, just behind the woman. I hardly ever paint in black and white, it was challenging, but I loved the simple palette. I was forced to not rely on colour for mood, and only tone. I wanted to create a creepy, eery prison-like feel. I'm happy enough with the result, And i;m looking forward to doing my next Twilight Zone inspired background.
